These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of serbplanet.com (the “Service”), operated by Cluborado OÜ, a Private limited company (Osaühing) registered in Estonia under registry code 17445114 (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
SerbPlanet is a community platform for the Serbian diaspora, offering a job board, business directory, events listings, a ride-sharing board (“Prevoz”), a community forum, a magazine, and a discovery and connections feature (“Pozz”). Some features require a Premium or Business subscription.
2. Your account
- You must provide accurate information when registering.
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. The Pozz feature has a higher minimum age of 18 (see section 8).
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
- One account per person. We may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Content you post
You’re responsible for anything you post — job listings, business listings, events, ride offers and requests, community posts, comments, replies, and messages in the live room. By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and distribute it on the Service. You keep ownership of your content.
You agree not to post content that is:
- Illegal, fraudulent, or misleading (including fake job or business listings).
- Hateful, harassing, discriminatory, or abusive.
- Spam or unauthorized advertising.
- Infringing on someone else’s intellectual property or privacy.
We may remove content or restrict accounts that violate this section, using the reporting and moderation tools built into the Service. You can report content you believe is illegal or against these Terms, and we will review and act on such reports without undue delay. We may also report illegal content — including child sexual abuse material or credible threats of harm — to law enforcement or other competent authorities where the law requires or permits it.
The live room is a real-time chat. Messages are transient: we keep only the most recent few in a small rolling buffer (constantly overwritten) so that people joining land mid-conversation, and older messages are discarded. A reported message may additionally be retained so we can review and act on the report. Because the room is live, moderation happens in real time; by taking part you accept that other members’ messages appear instantly and may be removed or missed.
4. Premium and Business subscriptions
- Premium and Business are paid, recurring monthly subscriptions. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and on our Pricing page.
- Where you buy, and who bills you. If you subscribe on our website, Cluborado OÜ bills you through our payment processor, Stripe. If you subscribe inside our mobile app, the purchase is handled by the platform’s store — the Apple App Store or Google Play — which acts as the seller/merchant of record for that transaction and collects any applicable taxes. Prices may be higher in the mobile apps than on the website to account for the app stores’ fees; the price displayed to you at the time of purchase is the price that applies.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- How to cancel depends on where you subscribed. If you subscribed on the website, cancel anytime from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must manage or cancel that subscription in your Apple or Google account’s subscription settings — we cannot cancel an app-store subscription for you, and cancelling it is subject to the store’s own rules.
- If you’re an EU consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from a distance contract. Because subscription access starts immediately, by subscribing you agree that this right ends once you start using the paid features, in line with applicable consumer protection rules.
- Fees are non-refundable except where required by law. Refunds for purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are handled by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies.
Donations. You can also make a voluntary one-time donation to support SerbPlanet, processed through Stripe. A donation is voluntary, is not a subscription, and grants no product features or benefits. Donations are non-refundable except where required by law.
5. Intellectual property
The SerbPlanet name, logo, and platform design belong to Cluborado OÜ. You may not copy, reproduce, or repurpose them without permission.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraud, or pose a security risk to the Service or other users.
Appeals. If we restrict, suspend, or remove your account, your content, or a Pozz profile and you believe it was a mistake, you can ask us to review the decision by emailing serbplanet@outlook.com. We’ll review it and respond without undue delay.
7. Ride-sharing (Prevoz) and meeting other members
Prevoz is a free noticeboard where members can post or find shared car journeys. SerbPlanet only displays these listings — we do not organise, provide, or take part in any journey, and we are not a transport provider, travel agent, or party to any arrangement between members. Any ride is a private arrangement made directly between the users involved.
- You interact at your own risk. We do not verify, vet, or background-check any member, driver, passenger, vehicle, licence, or insurance, and we do not confirm that any listing or person is genuine or that any photo, name, or detail is real. It is entirely your responsibility to check who you are dealing with before you trust anyone, share contact details, arrange to meet, get into a vehicle, or let anyone into yours. Use your own judgement and take the precautions you would with any stranger.
- Cost-sharing only. Prevoz is for private, non-commercial cost-sharing — a voluntary contribution toward fuel, tolls, and running costs. It must not be used to make a profit or to provide a commercial or professional transport service. Drivers are solely responsible for holding a valid licence and insurance covering their passengers and for complying with all applicable transport, tax, and traffic laws.
- No responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cluborado OÜ accepts no responsibility or liability for any journey, contact, or meeting arranged through the Service, or for the conduct, acts, or omissions of any member — including any loss, damage, injury, theft, or dispute arising before, during, or after a ride or meeting. You take part entirely at your own risk.
8. Pozz (discovery and connections)
Pozz is an optional feature for discovering and connecting with other members — for acquaintances, friendships, and social or professional connections. It is not a dating, matchmaking, escort, or introduction service. SerbPlanet only shows members to one another and, where two members each indicate interest in the other (a mutual “Pozz”), reveals the social-media links they chose to share so they can continue in touch off the platform. We do not host messaging between members and are not a party to any conversation, meeting, or relationship that follows.
- 18+ only — zero tolerance for minors. You must be at least 18 years old to create a Pozz profile or use Pozz, and you confirm this when you join — a stricter minimum than the rest of the Service. We have zero tolerance for minors on Pozz: we will remove any profile we believe belongs to someone under 18, and you can report a profile you believe is underage.
- What you share becomes visible to other members. Your Pozz profile — your profile photo, age, gender, location, description, interests, and at least one social-media link — is shown to other adult Pozz members so they can decide whether to connect. Your social-media links stay private until a mutual Pozz, when they are shared with that member. Do not include anything you are not comfortable sharing.
- Photo safety check. When you join Pozz, your profile photo is screened by an automated, AI-assisted tool (OpenAI) to help detect unsafe or inappropriate images. This is assistive and not a guarantee — it can miss content or occasionally flag a legitimate photo, and if the check is unavailable your photo is not automatically blocked. Member reports and our admin review are the backstop.
- You connect and meet at your own risk. We do not verify, vet, or background-check any member, photo, age, name, or detail, and we do not confirm that any profile or person is genuine. It is entirely your responsibility to judge who you are dealing with before you trust anyone, share further contact details, or meet in person. Use your own judgement, meet in public, and tell someone where you are going.
- Conduct. Pozz profiles and behaviour are subject to the content rules in section 3. In particular, you must not: harass or abuse others; post hateful content, nudity, or sexual content; impersonate anyone or misrepresent who you are (catfishing); create fake profiles; run romance, diaspora, or any other scams; solicit, request, or send money; or advertise or offer commercial or sexual services. You can report any profile from within Pozz, choosing a reason (fake, underage, inappropriate photo, offensive, spam, or other). After a report — or a system-generated flag — we review it and may hide the profile, remove the content, or suspend or remove the account, without undue delay. If you believe a moderation decision about your Pozz profile was a mistake, you can appeal it (see section 6).
- No responsibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cluborado OÜ accepts no responsibility or liability for any member, profile, contact, connection, or meeting arranged through Pozz, or for the conduct, acts, or omissions of any member — including any loss, damage, injury, harassment, or dispute arising from it. You use Pozz entirely at your own risk.
- Premium. Some Pozz limits — such as how many profiles you can view or actions you can take per day — are more generous for Premium members. See the Pricing page.
- Your data. How we handle your Pozz data — including your explicit consent to process your gender, and the automated photo screening described above — is explained in our Privacy Policy.
- Leaving Pozz. You can leave Pozz at any time from Settings. Leaving deletes your Pozz profile and all of your Pozz connections; deleting your account removes all of it as well.
9. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The Service is provided “as is”. We do our best to keep it accurate and available, but we don’t guarantee that job listings, business listings, ride listings, or any user-submitted content are accurate, complete, or safe. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cluborado OÜ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
News and magazine content is produced with the help of automated tools and is compiled from publicly available third-party sources, which are referenced where applicable. It is provided for general information only, may contain errors or omissions, and is not professional, legal, financial, or other advice. Copyright in the underlying source material and in any third-party quotations or images remains with the respective rights holders. Verify important information with the original source before relying on it.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Estonia. If you’re an EU consumer, you may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform to raise a complaint.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll notify you by email or via a notice on the Service.
